Oven Mold

A tool or template used in the construction of a wood-fired pizza oven. It helps create the desired shape and structure of the oven during the building process. The mold is typically made from cardboard, plywood or styrofoam. It acts as a form or guide that outlines the dimensions and contours of the oven, allowing builders to construct the oven walls and dome accurately using either firebrick or castable refractory concrete. By following the shape and size of the mold, builders can ensure that the final pizza oven has the desired shape, proportions, and functionality for baking delicious pizzas. Once the construction is complete, the mold is removed, leaving behind a sturdy and well-defined wood pizza oven ready for use.
