Dome Insulation

Pizza oven dome insulation refers to the layer of insulating material that is applied to the inner surface of the dome-shaped chamber of a pizza oven. The purpose of this insulation is to minimize heat loss and improve the efficiency of the oven by reducing the amount of energy required to maintain high cooking temperatures. There are various materials used for pizza oven dome insulation, including ceramic fiber blankets, vermiculite or perlite mixed with cement, or specialized refractory insulation products. These materials have excellent insulating properties, capable of withstanding high temperatures while providing insulation to prevent heat from escaping the oven. The insulation layer helps create a more even and consistent cooking environment inside the oven, resulting in improved cooking performance and reduced fuel consumption. Additionally, the insulation also helps to protect the outer surface of the oven from excessive heat, preventing potential damage.
